A ton has happened over the last couple of months. For example, my boyfriend and I just bought our first house…super exciting! However, with it comes a whole lot of work. The whole process is excruciating long but I know that once the house is move-in ready, it’ll be worth the wait. And I for one cannot wait to start decorating. I literally have a million and one ideas for every square inch of that house and unfortunately my ideas are BIG, which means big furniture, big mirrors, big wall art, and of course a HUGE price tag! The only problem is that although the house is cozy and perfect for my boyfriend and I, I have to modify those big ideas into more realistic ones. But, hey a girl can dream, right?!?! Anyway, I’ve been taking my time to find cute and classic pieces that will fit perfectly into the spaces I’m working. I’m also looking at different color schemes and furniture coordination to make every room feel bigger than what it really is…because even though I may be working with okay sized spaces I don’t want to overcrowd or darken a room making it feel smaller. So I shopped around and took pictures of different things that I want to incorporate into my new home. My next idea is to go to a thrift store and try to find some vintage furniture that I can refurbish myself. But I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. But I’ll make sure to let you know what I find.
